INSULATORS
Insulators are the most widely used basic components in medium and high voltage power transmission and distribution systems, which are used to insulate and support live parts. A composite insulator is a polymer composite insulator supported by an epoxy pull rod and insulated by a silicon rubber umbrella skirt. Compared with traditional ceramic and glass insulators, this product has the remarkable advantages of lightweight (only 1/4 to 1/8 of traditional insulators for the same purpose), high strength (tensile strength and bending strength of drawbar are more than 10 times that of high-strength porcelain), less pollution resistance and less cleaning (silicone rubber has unique strong hydrophobicity), and overcomes the aging life problem of conventional polymer materials, which can be safely used for decades. It is a new generation of products popularized in the power system.This product is used in power generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution systems of AC 220kV and below, and is used to insulate and support live parts.The product model is prepared according to the provisions of JB/T 9683-1999 Preparation Method for Insulator Product Models, and the configuration parameters are in accordance with JB/T 5892-1991 Technical Conditions for Organic Composite Insulators for High Voltage Lines and JB/T 8737-1998 Guidelines for the Use of Composite Insulators for High Voltage Lines.The important parameters and configuration methods not clearly defined in the above standards shall be corrected according to the requirements of GB 311.1-1997 Insulation Coordination of High Voltage Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment and GB/T 5582-1993 Pollution Level of External Insulation of High Voltage Power Equipment.
